    When I first got this unlocked GSM phone, I set it up to use on the Cingular/AT&T network. I found that I could forward my email to it by addressing the forward as: 1234567890 at mms.mycingular.com (the numbers are my cell phone number); and the messages would come through as text messages on the phone.

    Now this will no longer work. It will try to send the email to the phone, but I get an error message on the phone that it could not download the message. Retries to download produce the same error message. I haven't changed anything that I know of, but it now won't work when it used to work A-OK. Btw, regular text messaging still works just fine.

    When I ask Motorola (purchased the phone from the MOTO Store) for assistance, they refer me to my cell phone provider. When I ask the provider (Cingular/AT&T) for assistance, they say they can't help; since it's not one of their recognized phones.

    I even reran the Tarsin Phone Setup application supplied on the phone. It says it can't connect with the Internet and has me download a system update from the network. After download, it reports that the system update was successfully completed. Still won't work,

    Do I have a phone problem or a provider network problem? Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas? TIA for any and all that you may have.

    This lack of service support will certainly have to be considered when purchasing my next phone.
