A friend of mine recently gave me a Motorola i730. She told me that if I swapped the sim card with my i50sx, that it should work fine. Is it that simple? I wanted to ask before I gave it a try.
If it won't work, does Nextel typically force you to sign a 1 year commitment to make this transition?
Can someone please help?

first of all yes it will work fine, the only thing that will be different is you can only store 250 contacts instead of 600, no big deal. the only other difference is that you will not be able to assign individual ringtones to your contacts, also not a big deal.
second, if you wanted you could buy a new falcon sim card for the i730 from nextel for like 30-40 dollars, not really sure on the price but there is not contract extension required. but for the most part it really is not necessary.
