New to Group with a problem

Hi All,

I am new to this forum, after looking at some of the posting I wish I would have found you sooner, this place is great.

I have a RAZR V3 with a problem, here goes:

The thin film on the key pad is peeling off at the upper left hand corner and just abotht he 1 key.

I called Cingular, after about an hour on the phone I was told, contact Motorola this is not out problem, I ask to talk to this persons supervisor and was told she does not have contact with the supervisor and would not give me a name, she did transfer me to Motorola, I ended up with someone from India and was told send it in and we will see, but you will have to pay.

My question is, has anyone one else see this problem?

Does anyone know if the ketpad is replaceable?

I would like to get someone to warranty the phone, it costs to much to have it fail in 3 months.

Call Cingular back and try again, this phone has a one year warranty, if not just tell them the phone is freezing and that calls are dropping, and demand another phone but be courtious and nice about it. That'll get you into a warranty replacement....good luck.
