I got a Motorola SLVR phone, and i'm trying to upload my mp3 files on my phone to use them as my ringtone.. i already used a program to cut them.. chop them.. i did everything.. installed MPT.. i dont see any option that allows me to send files to it.. i use a usb wire and i tried to access my phone through My Computer --> Phone Drive (w/e its called) but it says "PLease insert a disk into a Drive"
I tried using Multimedia Tools in MTP.. but it didnt upload my mp3's.. Can someone help me out with this?
Oh and my last question do i need to buy a memory card in order to upload stuff on my phone? Or i can use my phone storage device..

..weird.. i can't edit my own posts.. anyway.. i figured it out, i just had to update my MTP like twice so it will find the right phone and allow me upload ringtones.

i hate aim, so i'll just tell you here.. first all you need to get is a USB wire, or a bluetooth adapter... whatever you like.. then download MTP from here
install it... update it.. then when you have your phone connected, it will ask you to install your phone manually.. just find a random phone or click ok.. click on menu --- Tools or something like that.. and find Upgrade, do that 2-3 times, when you get your MTP fully updated it will automatically find your phone, you will need to restart your pc too. Good luck figuring it out.
