Does anyone know what the problem is? My phone will not turn on. The battery is working because the handset lights up, but neither the outside or inside screen appear, there is no introductory noise or vibration, and I can't make any calls. The phone is only just over a year old.
A few days ago, it started to do this periodically, but fixed itself after I removed the battery and replaced it. Then, the screen froze, and I haven't been able to get it going since.
I don't want to buy a new phone, which is what the t-mobile guys suggested.
Does anyone know how to repair this problem? Alternatively, does anyone know a reliable cell phone repair shop in California?

Sure does sound like a dead phone. Last time I had a problem like that,it was moisture in the phone.
