Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with your Moto C.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and go to “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  4. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  6. After the sync is done, switch to the Moto C and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Moto C

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the iPhone contacts in a vCard file.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer
  7. Once done, perform one of the following steps:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Moto C to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Make sure the vCard is attached to the email and send it to your own address
  5. Switch to the Moto C and open the email
  6. Download the vCard and import it via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app that can be used for sharing iPhone contacts. The app is available on iOS and Android and uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Moto C
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
