Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the computer
- Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and Notifications folder
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Access Device
- Tap Sound & notification
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cant be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit >menu
- Tap Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
