Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to share your iPhone contacts with your Google account, then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- When ready, click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes, then set the account to sync contacts with the phone
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the process completes, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import it to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can use third-party apps to share your contacts, like My Contacts Backup on iOS. The app can back up and share contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Open the app and tap Backup
- Compose an email and make sure the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own email address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using the contacts app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS to transfer contacts without computer access, using a peer-to-peer connection.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
- Go to the Play Store and install the app on the Android device
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
