I am happy to be here. I know I will learn lots from you all and maybe I can help someone with what I know.
I've owned various makes and models of cell phones over the years, but I have settled in with the iPhone. I currently own a 3G, a 3GS and the 4G. My service provider is ATT.
I am a Registered Civil Engineer forced into retirement because of declining health and the present economy.

Re: Hello from Indiana, USA
beigephone cs, I live in Indianapolis so my ATT coverage is very good. My iPhone service with ATT is also very good. There are certain elevators in buildings that I lose signal, but so do many other cell phone users with other service providers. There are certain Interstate Bridges I go under that causes my signal to be lost for a second or two. There is also a small part of the City that I may lose coverage. So other that than I have no problems. These problems seem to have happened more with my 3G than with my 4G. I am very satisfied with ATT as well as my iPhone.
Outside of Indy has not been a problem for me either. I guess, if there are small towns in Indiana where I can not get coverage, then I have not yet been there. I have family members with Blackberry and Samsung phones all with ATT that lose their signal where I still have one.
There is a short stretch of I-64 near the Hoosier National Forest that I lose coverage.
Me and my youngest nephew are the only "smart" iPhone members of the family.
Indianapolis is big enough to a large Apple Store as well as many ATT Stores. I have great Cell Phone service.
