I am a TELUS Mobility customer (and likely will continue to be so, as the cell service is provided by work), and would like to broaden my potential phone selection by using unlocked phones. Looks like this might be the place to learn more about that.
What concerns me is that if I buy a phone meant for another network, such as Bell, or Rogers will it even work on the TELUS network?
Where do I go to make sure that if I buy a Rogers Lumia 920 I can make it work on TELUS and have it work at full LTE specs?

Welcome to Cell Phone Forums.net!
I'm not familiar with bringing an LTE phone to another provider since I believe these require a UICC card (provided by the carrier). You would need to get that card and insert it, along with the regular SIM card. The unlocked phone must also use the same frequencies as the network you want to use it on. If it uses the correct frequency, has the correct SIM and UICC card, I believe it should work.
Again, I'm not too familiar with this, so hopefully somebody else can reply with more information.
