Hi all.
I'm from Poland and I'm visiting USA this summer. I know that my Sony Ericsson t68i won't work in Nextel network which has a roaming agreement with my Polish gsm service provider. So I'm thinking of buying used iDEN phone on ebay and putting my sim card into it during my stay in the USA. Will it be working ? If not because it's a gsm card, what about Motorola i2000 ? I see that it's both iDEN and gsm phone.
Regards,
ABS

no it won't work. Nextel phones are locked for Nextel sims. only. They also are not gsm phones. They use tdma on the smr band. So no check with t-mobile for roaming agreements.

just to add to mighty...the i2000 also won't work because it only runs on iDEN in the US. the GSM portion is for oversees because it only has the european bands in the phone!
