I have made an wap application using wml and asp.The application which is running fine on emulators is still giving an errors on nextel device.
The errors that persist are http:500 error or data too large errors.I want this application to be run on nextel only, so plz don't tell me to change the network.
Is there any special SDK for nextel applications, like one we have openwave SDK.
We have tested the application on openwave simulator by using different settings eg wap proxy as well as httprxoy settings.
is there any different tags to be specified for nextel applications.
we want this application to be run on nextel motorolai205 handset.
it is very urgent as we are sucked in our work and not able to proceed further.

Don't know if this will work, but give it a try and see how it does...

Google has an emulator to translate HTML to WML on it's site... works a little like the old UNIX Lynx program, works fine in OpenWave. You can use the Go to URL page to pull up the site you intend to view. Here is the link to the Go to URL Google Page:

    http://www.google.com:80/wml?wmlmode=url&hl=en

You can either set this as a bookmark, if you have full Go to Site access, or text message it to yourself and store the message... if you are cheap like me and can't afford the extra $5.

Don't click on this link with your computer or it will try to download a WML application to your computer... just use your phone. Been doing this for the past 3 years with no problems. Runs like a champ!
