Hi, i just bought the 7250i yesterday and have to say that in the short space of time i've owned it, it is an excellent piece of equipment. However, having taken loads of photos with it, i am not totally satisfied with viewing them on the small screen and would like to look at them on my PC.

I would also like to send them via the infrared port to other mobile phones, however having read previous threads it would seem that it is only possible to send business cards and phone book entries?

I'm looking for the cheapest and most effective way of transferring data between phone and pc and would like to be advised on whether tha official nokia cable would be the best option, or this piece of equipment from maplin would do just as good a job; or even are there any suitable third party cables that would enable me to carry out the process?

I have downloaded the Nokia PC Suite and now just await the recommendation on what i should purchase.....

    Thanks in advance.

any cable will do, i have done away with cables and infrared along time, bluetooth all the way,

only thing is the cheap cables will mess up eventually in my experience i got through quite a few before i gave up.

Best is to get a USB IR adaptor for your computer. Then you won't have to worry about wires etc and moreover, if someday you change the phone, and your next phone too has IR, you won't have to buy anything extra for it.

And in software i reccomend MobiMB (www.logomanager.co.uk). Very easy and user friendly to use.

Trekker is right. Go for IR connectivity.

But instead of the O2 Phone Manager, and MobiMB, you could use the good ol' Nokia PC Suite 5.1 It works wonders, as long as you have no probs of game coming under the Applications folder.
What you lookin' here for ehhh?

the cheapest way is to get a ir port and download Oxygen Phone manager 2. Besides this you must also download Nokia Suite for uploading pictures en midis

my brother got the cable from nokia and a program with it and it works for every sort of nokia that can connect to the computer. he payed i think it was under AUD30 for it or something, but even if you got the cable you could download NOKIA PC SUITE from the nokia website for free.
