I owe a Nokia 7210 and I've brought a Datacabel to it, but i can't make it work properly?
The cable is the kind that you plug into the buttom of the phone and into the COM port on a computer.
It works fine on Win98SE, but on my own computer I can't find my phone. First I used Win XP but recently I've upgradet to Win 2003. It works with neither of the systems.

Of programs I've tried Logomanager, Oxygen Phone Manager and MobiMB.
The store where i brought the cable told me to use UserPort and I should use the port "378-37A" but doesn't help.

Anyone who knows what to do?

Could you try to isolate the problem by trying the IR port on your Computer?
If the IR works, then you need drivers for the cable. If the IR also doesn't work then you need to upgrade the software that you use.

PS: Windows 2003? Is that Windows XP with the Service Pack 1
What you lookin' here for ehhh?

By IR do you mean InfraRed? I don't have any infrared ports in my computer

By Windows 2003 i mean windows 2003. The successor to win XP, but win2x/XP applications usualy works in win2003.
My win 2003 is a 180 days trial I hvad downloaded from microsofts homepage: https://microsoft.order-5.com/windowsserver2003evaldl/

In that case, try to get newer version of the drivers for your Cable. On the Nokia Site they give the WinXP version, download it and try. if that doesn't work, tell us again.

I've just tried with the drivers from http://www.nokia.com/cda1/0,1080,5027,00.html but it didn't work. Still no connection. But I don't think it's a original Nokia cable. Therefore they told me to use the Userport driver. But not sure?
