unlock my nokia 6800 please

can anyone help me unlock a nokia 6800... my friend gave me this phone, it was originally from an AT&T (USA) and im putting a cingular simm card. although they have merge already, the phone is still not unlock to any providers... please help me..

btw, when i was reading the other post and some gave the unlock code, what is the "PW" stands for?? is it password? but how can you type in the PW if the screen only tells you "Phone Restricted" and "Enter Restriction Code"... again, god bless you all
