OK, I'm looking to convert a few of my current video files (MPEG, WMV, .mov,.avi, etc.) to a format I can view on my Nokia 6126....

So far I've tried countless converters that claim to be Freeware, but all turned out to be trial versions

I managed to convert a few files to 3gp and was able to view them, but the quality was just horrible

Is there another format I can use that has higher quality?

Also, where can I get a proper FREE video converter?

    cheers

    Rick

I use IMTOO software to convert all my files. All the progs run super fast & are very stable. The 3g converter is easily one of the best & fastest Ive seen. I can convert a 2HR 700+MB .AVI file[MOVIE] to 3G2 in about 20mins. Just google IMTOO & if you need a serial # shoot me a PM or reply here & Ill get it to ya.

    I'd love to know to.

I use a NokiaE62, and would transfer the files via my Mac through bluetooth.

    Please help!

As far as 3GP quality goes generally i've found that the following settings are fine for most phones:

    176 x 144 resolution
    12 frames per second (fps)
    48 kbit/s (3GP Audio quality)

I think you can use PCsuite. It allows you to convert files too.

Have you got the right one? I am using XM5530 right now? Is there a freeware for me to convert my videos to 5530?
