Hello I have a couple quick questions

My Nokia 5300's screen broke so my friend gave me his old Nokia 2610 (I'm pretty sure it's this model)

Is there anyway to format the phone back to factory settings without using his security code since he doesn't know it anymore?

Also my contacts on the 5300 are saved to the phone not the SIM card, is there anyway I can transfer them to the SIM card (keep in mind my screens broken)?

Nope, there's no way to transfer them to the simcard, you'd need to see what you're doing so I guess ur gonna have to get your hands on a second hand NK5300 LCD or just simply buy a new one and have it installed I think Nokia PC Suite maybe able to show you the numbers on the phone, BUT u'd have to get a datacable and download the software before you'd be able to achieve this feat As for the security code question, well ammmmm..... NOPE, well not without getting the NK2610 FLASHED, that'll erase everything on the phone and get it back to factory settings

I think that there are many resources for getting an alternate screen for a broken phone.
