A disgruntled feline dropped my phone in his waterbowl one night.

I can now turn it on and slide the face up and down to engage the backlight but the front face keypads won't respond.

I need this so I when I plug in the USB to do a phonebook backup to press "USB mode". Is there a way around this somehow? I've taken the buttons off to expose the white plastic printed circuit which I can press down and make it "click" but it isn't registering that on the phone.

    Help!

It appears that if you remove the battery long enough to get the screen to come up to enter the time and then connect the USB you won't be prompted to click okay to USB mode.

I am able to backup and access the phone. Thanks anyway!!! Hope this info helps somebody else.
