News: Symbian app development contest launched by Nokia and AT&T

If you are a developer, then you may be interested in knowing there is a new contest called "2010 Calling All Innovators, North America". Nokia and AT&T have teamed up together to ask all developers to create Symbian^3 apps and games for the Nokia N8 and for any upcoming Nokia handsets for the U.S. and Canada.

$10 million in cash, devices and marketing prizes will be available and developers can submit their works in 11 app categories or 6 game categories. The winner in each category will receive $150,000 in cash and an additional $100,000 for the grand prize winner.

If you are interested in entering this contest, you will have to have your application submitted before January 28, 2011. And just because the Nokia devices that this contest is for is for the US and Canada, does not mean that participants from around the world can't apply.
