Nokia 3500 SD Card help

I bought a sd card a while back, but the locking flap on my phone never locked and I just used the battery to keep the flap down. This worked for months until now the phone wont read the memory card, even though I can actually lock the flap down now. Anyway to get it to read the SD card? I tryed using the adapters but I cant even open it on my computer, I have a lot of stuff on the sd card that i'd like to open.

My wife had a similar problem with her Blackberry . Unfortunately the card was dammaged and everything on it was lost.

i'm afraid I think I've come to that conclusion =(

>> Try using another sd card. If you can not read it with 2 or 3 another sd card, your memory was damaged.
>> If you set security code in you card, sd card can not read it too.
