Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can share your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data including contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the PC and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts and log in with your Google account
- Alternatively click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and access Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- After the process completes, perform one of the following steps:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to its storage and use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook, or:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a PC connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can be used to share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Open the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Then, send the vCard to your own email address
- Switch to the Android phone and open the email
- Download the vCard and import it to your phonebook using Contacts
Via Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another example you can use is Send Anywhere, an app for Android and iOS that can share contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring computer access.
- Install the app on the Android phone from the Play Store
- Install the same app on the iPhone via the App Store
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, select the contacts you want to send
- Select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
