Okay, this is how it goes
My friend has a cable. I wen´t to his home and we tryed to put mids to my 6610 by using the offical nokia software, everything went fine untill I tryed to play the mids. I says something like "´could not open the mid", or something like that. Only one of the mids worked the way it should.

I don´t think those mids were too long and they all were 4 tuned (is that the correct word, dunno). Also I don´t think the filesize was too big, because we tryed many mids, but as I said only one of them worked. I can´t understand why won´t the mids work.

So if anyone have had these kind of problems or if someone can help me with my problem I would appreciate the help.

it's supposed to play all mid format... the reason could be beacuse the original format is not mid and is another format instead.. they simply just changed the format name to .mid... that is why your phone cannot read

    yah, invalid format.

u cld use the original nokia midi composer that came with the phone package. it's able to filter out the unnecessary garbage.
