Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data including contacts with the Panasonic smartphone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes and click the iPhone
- Access Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account. Alternatively, click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts form iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign into the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer perform one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup
- After the backup vCard file is done, tap Email
- Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Visit the Play Store and install the app on the android device
- Open the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contact to share and tap Send
- Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
