Anybody here change the faceplates of their BB?

I have a Blackberry 8320 and loving it! I use it as a modem for my laptop on out of town trips all the time.

So NOBODY here has done a faceplate swap yet???

I don't think it would be a very good idea to do. Some of the older Blackberrys are easy to take apart the housing. I only reccomend taking apart the housing only if you have to like if your warranty is voided and if you have no insurance. If you just want to change the color of your phone it is good to get what is now called a phone shield. These come in many colors and designs and they just snap on top of the current housing of your phone which means, your phone is also protected from light drops and scratches.

lol. Looks real good though! Make sure you hold on to your original just in case. The original housing usually always holds up better than a 3rd party product.

Yeah, I kept the original. I figured if I had to return it, I could put it back together and it would be hard for them to tell I had another faceplate on.

My only gripe was it took 19 days to get here.

The only reason I can think of replacing the faceplate would be due to scatches on the screen. Not much surface area for design on the curve. Just my $.02 worth but like you I would like to see if someone has done this.

Doesn't look like many do the faceplace change.

It still looks cool to be able to change with mood

This is cool if you don't mess up your warranty? I'm too clumsy to do it, I would most likely break something.
