I'm debating getting either the Pearl or the Curve but need to know how/if they link to my calendar through Outlook back at my business. I want to be able to schedule appointments and monitor my calendar using the phone when I'm away from the office. Do you need a certain version of Outlook or will the Home Office version work? Also, is there an added charge to do this type of activity? Thanks for any insight.

Re: BlackBerry and Outlook
Does your company support Blackberrys? Do they have a Blackberry Exchange Server? Ask you IT guys and your service provider. Good luck and YES it can if all the back end is set up right.
From the manuals
To perform this task, your BlackBerry® device must be associated with an email account that uses the BlackBerry® Internet Service or a
BlackBerry® Enterprise Server that supports this feature. For more information, contact your wireless service provider or administrator.

Re: BlackBerry and Outlook
The Doc was right. Since you will be using this with your company email. You will have to ask your I.T. guys to set it up for you. But if it's just a personal email at home it shouldn't be a problem.
