    I have a blackberry 8330 & I tried to use the disk it came with that you use with the computer and I have no idea how I am suppose to put ringtones, songs in general ect on my phone

    the best way to start with the manager is to get the updated one off of blackberry's website. but all in all you dont need to use it to do ringtones, music and all that jazz. plug it into your computer go to computer in the start menu and open the icon that says "blackberry" or something simular. once open you will see a two choices, choose the media card and inside that there will be music, videos, etc. etc..... now all you have to do is take songs from your itunes library or other music app., drag them on you desktop first and then drag to your folder of choice. this way you can have what ever you want as your ringtone and you dont have to deal with the desktop manager for those. updating and all that kind of stuff is easy and pretty self explanitory.

    It's quite simple to use the Roxio studio to transfer files from your computer to your phone.

    It's just like windows in that you can cut and paste from the 'explorer' part that is your computer into the 'explorer' part that is your phone/XD card.
