I email the mp3 to myself at myphone#@vzwpix.com. When I get the file I can open it and hear it, but I cant use it as a ringtone. Also it seams that when I email it there is some type of translation because it shows up on my phone as a QCP file and not the mp3 that I emailed.

My first issue is that when the ringer shows up to my phone its no longer in mp3 format but changed to QCP and I can set that file type to be a ringtone. How are u getting mp3's to your phone and how are u setting them to a ringtone?

Figured it out thanks to other postings on this site. If i change the file extension to from .MP3 to .MID then email it to my phone I can then save it as a ringtone. Sorry about jumping off topic here. Ive been looking for this ringtone for some time and when i finally found it and couldnt use it i had to figure out why. Thanks for all the help!
