Hi, i got a razr V3 today and i was wondering how i can take an audio file from my computer (i can convert it into pretty much any format) and send it to the phone to use as a ringtone.
I did not pay for internet access in my service plan, so i dont think that i can use the methods people here have mentioned, at least from what i have read.
this leaves the USB cable option.
There are many USB cables on ebay, and lots of them come with different software. will all the software be able to take my MP3 files and put them into the phone as a ringtone?
thanks for your help.

Forget the USB cable option and internet through your phone. Go out to almost any electronics store (Best Buy, Circuit city, Office Depot, etc) and purchase a USB Bluetooth link. They run for about 30-40 dollars. Once you do that, run the setup on your pc and then you can transfer almost any media to and from your phone.
After that, or right now if you want, you can go to my thread up at the top, its the mp3 requesting thread and download the 3 bundle loads of ringers I have made for people on here. The 3 links are going to be in the first post towards the bottom of it.

Not really. But I find it a lot easier to use the bluetooth than usign the cable.
Plus, if you have an open usb slot, you can simply leave the bluetooth usb adapter on your computer ... and then transfer to and fro pc=cell phone any time you wish.
