And while im at it, is there a way to convert some of my songs from mP3 to a readable format for my phone. I would love to have that option so that I can have many ringtones. Please let me know.

Thanks, but I already knew it was. I guess my question is how can I make my mP3 songs into my ringtones?

first, you'll need an audio editing program. Personally, i use sony soundforge. I have also used adobe audition.

you cut the song into the ringer you want, change the specs that they are gona be saved as, and save it.
    i use these specs:
    56kbs - bitrate
    22050 - frequency
    mono - channels

Where would I save these files? I've saving them into the sound folder but that does nothing.

when transferring the tones, are you saving them on the phone itself or the memory card?

I guess they're on the memory card. How would I switch it over to save on the phone?
