I am looking for some help with finding a easy, cheap/free MP3 editor. And or a good program which I can easily pull audio from DVD/video clips. I have read many of the forums and am not finding the information I am hoping to find. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

A good program for taking an audio clip from a video is Xilisoft 3gp Converter. You can also use it to convert mp3's to .wav files, trim the wav file to length with soundrecorder, then use Xilisoft to convert it back to an mp3.

I use Audacity as posted above, it's a very good editor, and it's free. As for getting sound from a video, I use Hidden Content . You can record from any source you want. Anything that comes out of your computer speakers, you can record it & save it as an mp3 or wav.
