Is there anything out there in ringtones for people that are a little hard of hearing. I've beed around too many loud engines, music and wife a little too long and has affected my hearing. I need something other than vibrate that I can hear. Any ideas. Gotta be something out there.

Re: Ringtones for the hard of hearing?
I have the same problem. Working in a noisy environment, I need a ringtone which is very loud.
My MotoV551 had a Sirene tone which worked fine, but can find nothing similar for this Razr V3xxx.
Still learning, will figure out something, and will not partake of the "free sample ringtones" when you sign up thing.

Re: Ringtones for the hard of hearing?
Here is what I did. Its a little complex, but if you are PC savy you will not have any problems. You will need two programs, both are free. BITPIM and AUDACITY
Download your ringtones to PC by way of a program called BITPIM, save the file on your hard drive
Open up Audacity, start the record mode and then play the ring tone from hard drive, make sure you turn up the volume on Audacity.
Then edit & save the file.
Using BITPIM download to your phone.

Re: Ringtones for the hard of hearing?
I did a quick search for Siren Ringtones and it seems after you get to about page 4 of googles finds you get a website that actually means FREE when they say it.
tones9 dot com and get the siren-(loud) ringtone
just click on the box, download it and hopefully that will be enough to get your attention.

Re: Ringtones for the hard of hearing?
If someone is in search, I can suggest using the Geemarc CL8500 Amplified Clamshell mobile phone. It is extra-loud. I know that people with hearing issues find it helpful.
