Set Up IMAP Email

1. From the home screen, touch Apps.
2. Next touch Email.
3. Now you need to enter your Email address and password and tap Next.

Note: If an email address is already set up and you want to add another one, press the Menu key -> tap Settings -> and tap the add an account icon.

4. Your phone will automatically search for its settings.

If the phone finds the settings, touch to change the Account settings as desired and then choose Next.
Now enter your email account type – for example, Gmail or Hotmail. Next enter Your Name, the way you would like it to appear on your outgoing emails and tap Done.

Your email account should now be set up.

5. However, if your phone was not able to find the settings itself, touch IMAP account.
6. In the Username filed enter your email address.
7. You don’t have to renter the password as it will be entered automatically from the previous steps.
8. Next you have to enter imap.your-email-account-type.com – for example, imap.gmail.com or imap.yahoo.com – in the IMAP server field.
9. Now touch Security type and choose SSL/TLS.
10. Enter 993 in the Port field and tap Next.
11. Now you have to enter smtp.your-email-account-type.com – for example, smtp.gmail.com or smtp.yahoo.com – in the SMTP server field.
12. Tap the security type field and choose SSL/TLS.
13. Enter 465 in the Port field and choose Next.
14. Now you only need to choose the Email check frequency as desired.
15. Tap to check or uncheck the Sync and Notify me when emails arrive options as desired.
16. Touch Next.
17. Enter the domain of your email address as the Account Name – for example: Gmail or Yahoo.
18. Write Your Name the way you want it to appear on your outgoing emails.
19. Choose Done.

Set up your Microsoft Exchange Email

1. Touch Apps from the home screen.
2. Next, tap Email -> enter the Email address and password -> touch Next.

3. Your phone will try to make the set up automatically.
4. If the phone finds the settings, touch to change the Account settings as desired and then choose Next. Enter a name for the account and touch Next.
5. The email account should now be set up.
6. However, if the phone didn’t find the settings itself, choose Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
7. Input the correct Domain and Username.
8. Check Accept All SSL certificates as required - > tap Next.
9. Make sure the Exchange server is correct.
10. If required, touch to check or uncheck Use secure connection (SSL).
11. Now you will see an activation message. Read it and touch OK.
12. Tap to change the desired account options – Notify me when emails arrive, Sync Email, Sync Calendar, Sync Contacts, Sync task.
13. Once you are done, touch Next.
14. Enter a name that you want for the account and touch Done.
15. The Microsoft Exchange should now be set up.
