How-to: Take Photos and Record Videos with Your Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II

Taking a picture

1. Go to the Home screen and tap Camera.
2. Frame in your subject and then tap the Camera icon to take the picture.
3. Or, if you want to use a fun way to take pictures, tap the Voice Shot icon located on the top menu. Then speak [Say cheese!] into the phone and it will automatically take a picture.

Switching from rear to front camera

1. Open the Camera app and tap the Rotate Camera icon located at the top side of the screen.

Zooming in

1. Open the Camera app and to zoom in, place two fingers on the screen and swipe outward.
2. If you want to zoom out, place two fingers on the screen and then pinck inwards.
3. Alternatively, you can use the Volume keys to zoom in or out.

Editing a photo

1. Open the Camera app -> tap the Picture icon located at the bottom left part of the screen to open the gallery.
2. Select the photo that you want to edit.
3. Tap the Menu key and select to Crop, Rotate right or Rotate left.

Deleting a photo

1. Open the Camera app -> tap the Picture icon located at the bottom left part of the screen to open the gallery.
2. Select the desired photo -> tap the Menu key -> select Delete and tap OK.

Sharing a photo

1. Open the Camera app -> tap the Picture icon located at the bottom left part of the screen to open the gallery.
2. Select the desired photo -> then tap any place on the screen to display the menu at the top -> next, tap the Share icon and select the desired sharing options -> follow the onscreen prompts.

Setting a picture as wallpaper

1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Select Settings -> tap Wallpaper ->select the wallpaper that you want to update (Home screen, Lock screen or both) -> tap Gallery -> select the image that you want to set as wallpaper -> crop the photo if desired and then tap Done.

Recording a video

1. Go to the Home screen and tap Camera.
2. Slide the Camera mode to video.
3. To start shooting a video, tap the Record icon (the red button).
4. When you want to stop the shooting, tap the Record icon again.

Adjusting video settings for MMS

1. Open the Camera app -> switch the Camera mode to video -> tap the Settings icon -> select Recording mode -> tap Limit for MMS.

Sharing a Video

1. Open the Camera app and tap the picture located at the bottom of the screen to open the Gallery.
2. Select the video that you want to share.
3. Tap any place on the screen to display the menu at the top -> tap the Share icon -> select the sharing options that you want to use and follow the onscreen prompts.
