Enabling / Disabling Wi-Fi:
- While viewing the home screen, tap the "All apps" icon
- Tap "Settings" > "Connections" > "Wi-Fi"
- Press the "On / Off" slider associated with Wi-Fi in order to enable or disable this feature
Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network:
- Tap the "All apps" icon located on the home screen
- Tap "Settings" > "Connections" > "Wi-Fi"
- Select the network that you wish to join
- If prompted to do so, enter the network's password / security credentials and connect
Accessing Wi-Fi Advanced Settings:
- Tap "All apps" on the home screen
- Tap "Settings", then tap "Connections" and "Wi-Fi"
- The following options will become available:
- Network notification: if enabled, it alerts you when a new WAP is available
- Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep: if enabled, Wi-Fi will not be automatically disabled when your phone is in sleep mode
- Check for Internet service: this option chesk if Wi-Fi Internet service is available while connected to an Access Point
- Auto connect: Allows you to be automatically connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot as soon as your phone detects it
- MAC address: here you can view your handset's MAC address
- IP address: here you can see your device's IP address
Adding a New Wi-Fi Network Connection manually:
- From any of the home screens, tap "All apps"
- Tap "Settings" > "Connections" > "Wi-Fi"
- Tap "Add Wi-Fi network"
- Enter the "Network SSID".
- Tap the "Security" field and select the desired security option
- If secured, you will also need to provide a password
- Tap "Show advanced options" if you need to add other options such as "IP settings", "Proxy settings" or "Key management"
- Tap "Connect" to store the information and connect to the network
Enabling / Disabling Wi-Fi Direct:
Wi-Fi Direct is a method of connecting multiple devices together via Wi-Fi, without the need of a Wi-Fi network. NOTE: Using Wi-Fi Direct can result in extra charges.
- While on the home screen, tap "All apps" and go to "Settings"
- Tap "Connections" > "Wi-Fi"
- Tap the "On / Off" slider associated with "Wi-Fi" in order to enable the feature
- Press the "Wi-Fi Direct" button located at the bottom of the Wi-Fi screen
- Make sure that Wi-Fi direct is enabled on the other smartphone that you wish to connect to
- On your phone, tap "Scan"
- After the device that you wish to connect to is displayed in the list of scanned handsets, tap on it
- The other device has 2 minutes to "Accept" the connection
AT&T Smart Wi-Fi:
If you own the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom from AT&T, then you can use AT&T Smart Wi-Fi in order to maximize battery life and data, and to simplify access to AT&T HotSpots and Wi-Fi networks, as well as automating Wi-Fi connections.
- While on the home screen, tap "All apps"
- Tap "AT&T Smart Wi-Fi"
- If this is the first time you open the app, you will need to install it. Tap "OK" when prompted to do so
- If necessary, sign in to your Google account
- In the "Play Store", tap "Update" to update the "AT&T Smart Wi-Fi" application, then tap "Accept & download"
- Follow the on-screen instructions in order to use AT&T Wi-Fi

Ciao, mi è sparita la spunta di:"connetti automaticamente alla rete". Tutte le volte quindi che esco e poi rientro, devo rimettere la password. Ho cercato ma non ho trovato soluzioni!
