    Chardsur,

The option should be there, and the user manual confirms it.

You need to open the "Contacts" app, press the "Menu" key on your device, and there should be the option to "Import / Export". Tap it, and select "Export to SD card"

If the option is missing, then perhaps the SD card is not recognized?

Either that, or the user manual is not reflecting the smartphone's capabilities correctly, and thus the phone can't perform this task. I'd find that very odd, but you never know.

It may depend on the version of Android you are running. What version are you running?

    It's 4.2.2
What's the other way if this doesn't support?

Does your samsung duos has play store? then you can save your contacts to your Gmail account also. gmail has the facility to import and export contacts.

Re: Import/Export not there in contacts menu.

Issue is due to home screen mode set to Easy mode. Change it to Standard mode and you will get the import export option in contacts. Path is Settings -> My device -> Home screen mode -> Standard.

Path might be different for other Samsung mobiles but solution is same.

    Cheers !!!!!

Re: Import/Export not there in contacts menu.

in contacts you should press the square shaped button on the bottom of screen, (the button that when you're on homepage shows your open programs)

this way instead of showing your open programs, contact options appear
