Contact Management
Adding a New Contact:
- From the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
- Go to the "Contacts" tab
- Press the "+" button
- Select the location where you wish to save the contacts, such as "Google", "SIM Card", "Device" or "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"
- Enter the contact's name
- Type in the contact's phone number in the appropriate field
- Complete the contact's information as you see fit
- When you're done completing the contact information, tap "Save"
Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:
- Tap the "Phone" icon located on the home screen
- Tap the "Keypad" tab if necessary
- Tap "Menu" and go to "Speed dial"
- Choose the number that you want to use for speed dialing
- Select the contact that you want to assign to the dial pad number
Deleting a Contact:
- Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
- Access the "Contacts" tab
- Press the "Menu" key
- Tap "Delete"
- Mark the check boxes next to the contacts that you wish to remove
- Tap "Done"
- Lastly, press "OK"
Contact Import / Export
Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SD Card:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Access the "Contacts" tab
- Press the "Menu" key
- Tap "Settings" > "Contacts" > "Import / Export"
- Perform one of the following:
- To export contacts to the SD card:
- Tap "Export to SD card"
- Press "OK"
- To import contacts from the SD card:
- Tap "import from SD card"
- Select the location where you wish to import the contacts
- Tap "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
- Press "OK" and if necessary, select the desired vCard file and tap "OK" once again
- To export contacts to the SD card:
Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SIM Card:
- From the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
- Access the "Contacts" tab
- Press the "Menu" key
- Tap "Settings" > "Contacts"
- Tap "Import / Export"
- Follow one of the two sets of steps below:
- To export contacts to the SIM card:
- Tap "Export to SIM card"
- Choose the contacts that you wish to export (Optionally, tap "Select all")
- Tap "Done" > "OK"
- To import contacts from the SIM card:
- Tap "Import from SIM card"
- Select the location or the account where you wish to import the contacts
- Mark the check boxes next to the contacts that you wish to import, or tap "Select all"
- Tap "Done"
- To export contacts to the SIM card:
Importing / Exporting Contacts from USB Storage:
- From the "Contacts" app, access the "Contacts" tab
- Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
- Tap "Contacts" > "Import / Export"
- Choose to either "Export to USB Storage" or "Import from USB storage"
- Follow any on-screen prompts
Managing Caller Groups
Creating a New Caller Group:
- From the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
- Access the "Groups" icon under "Favorites", depicting a "+" symbol
- Tap "Create"
- Enter a name for the group
- To add members, tap "Add member" and mark the check boxes associated with the desired contacts
- Tap "Done" > "Save"
Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:
- Launch the "Contacts" app
- Go to the "Groups" section by tapping the "+" sign
- Select the desired group
- Tap "+" and mark the contacts that you wish to add to the group
- When ready, tap "Done"
