Managing Contacts
Adding a New Contact:
- While on the home screen, tap "Contacts"
- Access the "Contacts" tab
- Tap "+" and select to save the contact on the "Device", "SIM card", "Google" (account)" or "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"
- Type in the contact's name and phone number in the appropriate fields
- Select the phone number type
- Enter the contact's email address and any other details you wish
- When ready, tap "Save"
Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:
- Tap "Phone" while on the home screen
- Tap the "Keypad" tab if necessary
- Press "Menu" and tap "Speed dial"
- Tap the dial pad number you wish to use for speed dialing
- Select the contact you wish to assign to the previously tapped dial pad number
Importing / Exporting Contacts from / to the SIM Card:
- Tap "Apps" and open the "Contacts" app
- Access the "Contacts" tab
- Press "Menu" and go to "Settings"
- Select "Contacts" and tap "Import / Export"
- Perform one of the following:
- To import contacts from the SIM card:
- Tap "Import from SIM card"
- Select an account
- Tap "Select all" or mark the check boxes next to the desired contacts
- Tap "Done"
- To export contacts to the SIM card:
- Tap "Export to SIM card"
- Choose the desired contacts, or tap "Select all"
- Tap "Done" and press "OK" for confirmation
- To import contacts from the SIM card:
Importing / Exporting Contacts to / from the SD card:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Go to the "Contacts" tab
- Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
- Tap "Contacts" > "Import / Export"
- Follow one of the sets of steps below:
- To import contacts from the SD card:
- Tap "Import from SD card"
- Select the location where you want to import the contacts
- Tap "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
- If necessary, press "OK" and select the desired vCard file
- Tap "OK" to finish
- To export contacts to the SD Card:
- Tap "Export to SD Card"
- Press "OK" for confirmation
- To import contacts from the SD card:
Deleting a Contact:
- From the "Contacts" application, access the "Contacts" tab
- Press "Menu" > "Delete"
- Mark the check box next to the contacts you wish to remove
- Tap "Done" > "OK" to confirm
Managing Caller Groups
Creating a New Caller Group:
- While viewing the home screen, tap "Contacts"
- Access the "Group" tab
- Tap "Create" and type in the group's name
- To add members, tap "Add member", mark the desired contacts and tap "Done"
- Press "Save" to confirm
Adding Contacts to an Existing Group:
- Launch the "Contacts" app
- Access the "Groups" tab and select the desired group
- Tap "+" and mark the check boxes next to the desired contacts
- To confirm and complete the process, tap "Done"
