Restore Contacts from a Samsung or Google Account:
- On your phone, sign in with the Google or Samsung account you used for backing up contacts
- Open the phones Settings menu
- Under User and Backup, tap Accounts
- Select Google or Samsung, depending on the type of account you use
- Tap your email address or user name
- Enable Sync Contacts
- Tap Menu > Sync now
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Galaxy J3 Pro to your computer via USB
- When prompted, enable Media device (MTP), or enable the option from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the media files backed up on your computer
- Copy the backup files and transfer them back on the phone storage, preferably in the Media directory or the folder(s) they originate from
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Restore Media Files from a Mac Computer:
- Connect the Samsung device to your Mac via USB
- When prompted, enable Media device (MTP), or turn the option On from the Notification area
- Launch Kies on the Mac
- Inside Kies, go to Back up / restore
- Click the Restore tab
- Check the boxes associated with Music, Photos, and other types of media files you wish to restore
- Click Restore
- Follow any additional on-screen steps that may follow to complete the restore
- Once done, drag the phones virtual drive from the desktop and drop it into the trash can to eject it
- You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB
