Sync iPhone Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then you can sync the account data with the Samsung device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and access “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Samsung device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Click “Contacts” and select the desired contact
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded and perform one of the following steps:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Wait for the backup file to be created and tap “Email”
  4. Make sure the vCard backup file is attached to the email and send it to your own address
  5. Switch to the Samsung device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and trap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select a transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transfer
