Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Samsung phone to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the computer
  5. Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
  6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and disconnect the device form the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound and Vibration”
  3. Go to “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Back”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact’s name
  3. Access “Details” > “Edit” > “More”
  4. Tap “Ringtone” > “Allow storage permissions” and set to “Allow”
  5. Select the ringtone you want to assign and tap “OK”

Change Incoming Email Notification Alerts:

  1. Open “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Manage accounts”
  4. Select your email address
  5. Scroll to “Notification settings” > “Email notifications” and clear or tick the check box
  6. Enable or disable “Vibrate” and “Notification sound”

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Launch “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Emergency alert settings”
  4. Access “Emergency alerts”
  5. Enable or disable “Emergency alerts”, “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
