Reset the Cache Partition:
NOTE: If your device crashes, freezes, runs out of storage inexplicably or otherwise doesnt work as intended and youre considering a factory reset, alternatively you can try fixing these problems by clearing the cache partition. This can have results similar to a factory reset, without losing personal data from the device.

- Press and hold Home and Volume Up at the same time
- Then press and hold Power as well
- At the Android screen, release the buttons and wait for access to Android Recovery
- Navigate the Recovery menu by pressing volume down repeatedly and highlight Wipe data/factory reset
- Press power to select the highlighted option
- Highlight Wipe cache partition and press power
- Highlight Yes to confirm and press Power
- After the cache is wiped, highlight Reboot system now and press Power
NOTE: If clearing the cache partition didnt help, you can visit this thread for instructions on how to factory reset the device instead.
Reboot to Safe Mode and Uninstall an App:

- Turn the phone off if necessary
- Next, press and hold Power
- At the Samsung screen, release Power and quickly press and hold Volume down instead
- Once the phone finished rebooting, a Safe Mode watermark should be visible in the lower area of the screen. After the phone reboots, release all the buttons
- To uninstall an app, first access Settings
- Go to Apps and select the desired app
- Tap Uninstall to confirm
- Once done, exit Safe Mode by rebooting the phone as you would normally do
