Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the computer
  5. Copy the desired audio files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” and “Ringtones” folders
  6. Once done you can safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “Back”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact and access “Details”
  3. Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
  4. Tap “Allow storage permissions” and set to “Allow”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:

  1. Open “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Manage accounts”
  4. Select your email address and go to “Notification settings”
  5. Tap “Email notifications”
  6. Check or clear the desired tick boxes and turn “Vibrate” and “Notifications” On or Off

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings’
  3. Access “Emergency alert settings”
  4. Tap “Emergency alerts”
  5. Turn On or Off “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
