Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and Notifications directories
- Once done, you can safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound and vibration
- Tap Ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap Back
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Launch Contacts
- Select the desired contact
- Go to Details > Edit > More
- Tap Ringtone and enable Allow storage permissions
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:
- Launch Email
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Tap Manage accounts and select your email address
- Access Notification settings > Email notifications
- Check or clear the tick boxes associated with Notifications and Vibrate
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Launch Messages
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Go to Emergency alert settings
- Tap Emergency alerts
- Enable or disable Imminent severe alerts Imminent extreme alerts and AMBER alerts
