Restore Contacts from SD Storage:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. If necessary, tap “Contacts to display” and select “All contacts”
  4. Tap “Import/Export contacts”
  5. Tap “Import from SD Card” > “OK”

Restore Media Files from SD Storage:

  1. Open “My Files”
  2. Access “SD card”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Edit”
  4. Tick the boxes associated with the media files you want to restore
  5. Tap “Menu” > “Move” > “Internal storage”
  6. Tap “Move here” or, alternatively, tap “Create folder” or the folder name in order to restore the files to a different location
  7. Tap “Move here” when ready

Restore Media Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device”
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media file backups on the PC
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders from where they originate
  6. Once done you can safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Restore Media Files from a Mac Computer:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the Mac via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch Kies on the Mac and access “Back up / Restore”
  4. Go to “Restore” and tick the boxes associated with “Photos” “Music” and other media file types you want to restore
  5. Click “Restore” and follow the on-screen prompts
  6. After the process completes, drag the phone’s virtual drive from the desktop and drop it over the “trash can” to eject it
  7. You can safely disconnect the device from the USB port
