Restore Contacts from SD Storage:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings”
  4. If necessary, tap “Contacts to display” and select “All contacts”
  5. Tap “Import/Export contacts” > “Import from SD card”
  6. Tap “OK”

Restore Media Files from SD Storage:

  1. Launch “My Files”
  2. Go to “SD Card”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Edit”
  4. Tick the boxes associated with the media files you want to restore
  5. Tap “Menu” > “Move”
  6. Select “Internal storage” and tap “Move here” or:
  7. Tap “Create folder” or the folder name to restore the files to a different location
  8. When ready, tap “move here”

Restore Media Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
  6. After the transfer ends, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Restore Media Files from a Mac Computer:

  1. Connect the Android device to the Mac via USB
  2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open Kies on the Mac
  4. Go to “Back up / Restore”
  5. Access “Restore” and tick the boxes associated with “Music” “Photos” and other media file types you want to restore
  6. Click “Restore” and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
  7. Once done, drag the phone’s virtual drive from the desktop and drop it over the trash can to eject it
  8. You can safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
