How-to: Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 3: Create and Manage Contacts, Caller Groups, and Speed Dialing

Create a New Contact:

1. Launch “Contacts” and tap “+”
2. Select to store the contact on the “SIM” “Phone” or to sync it with “Google”
3. Enter the contact’s name, phone number, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
4. Tap “Done”

Import/Export Contacts:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Go to “Manage contacts”
4. Tap “Move contacts from phone” and select an account for syncing
5. Tap “Move” > “Import/Export”
6. Follow one of the steps below:
   
   • When importing contacts: tap “SD Card” > “Import” and select the desired contacts, then tap “Internal storage” > “Done” > “Import” > “OK”
   • When exporting contacts: tap “Export” > “SD Card” and select the desired contacts then tap “Done” > “Export” > “OK”

Add Contacts to Speed Dial:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Contacts” > “Menu”
3. Go to “Speed dial”
4. Select the desired speed dial number and the phone number/contact to associate it with

Delete Contacts:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap and hold the contact you want to delete
3. Tap “Menu” > “Delete”
4. Tap “Delete” a second time for confirmation

Create a New Caller Group:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Groups”
3. Tap “Create” and enter the desired group name
4. Optionally, select a group ringtone
5. Tap “Save”

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Select the contact you want to add to the group
3. Tap “Details” > “Edit”
4. Go to “Group” and tick the check box associated with the desired caller group
5. Tap “Back” > “Save”
