i have a samsung e715 and tried to unlock it but when i put in my cingular or my at&t sim card all it do is says searching. can someone please help me out?

Hi,
Where did you buy your E715. I believe its either Tmobile or a foreign one with the world standard 900/1800/1900 tri band antenna system. AT&T and Cingular broadcast at 850 mhz in most region and some areas have 1900. That is the reason it is still serching for the right frequency even after you unlocked it. The same thing happened to me when I switch the chip in my phone, it said searching from yesterday til this morning. But I came on my pc to find a solution for it..I was about to put in a code...actually I put in the personalize code again...then it said it was already personalized...and like 20 sec after it was working..it pick up a network
