Need Help Unlocking Samsung Phone

I have a samsung phone with Tmobile service. I called tmobile and told them i needed to use it in India. They gave me a unlock code for my phone but i have no idea how to type it in? I put the new sim card in my phone and it says wrong card, so how do i use the unlock code that i was provided to unlock my phone?

put a US sim in it, from a different carrier, and then it will say wrong sim. My samsung had 'bypass' or some word like that for the right soft key option. Enter it on the next screen, see EASY!
