wireless internet?

I have the option on my a670 to open the internet browser, i used to always get an error when i tried, but today it seemed to compute a security key and keep progressing in set up...i cancelled out though, because i was wondering what the charges are for the internet? I am on a family plan, and i am not the main phone. I am wondering if you guys have any experience with the internet browser and if they charge you initially or how much is it per minute? I also read that it is easy withs ome sites to get free ringtones with your phone if you can use the internet browser...anyone know about it?

Usually, unless you have an unlimited data plan or the like, it is a per kB cost.
