I don't think you can hook this phone up to a PC so is there anyway to get free ring tones and games etc? Sprint want money for every little thing on this phone.

my partner has the same phone as you, and i have been sending him all kinds of free stuff using www.rumkin.com/tools/sprint

you must have Vision service in your plan to get the uploads for free! If you don't have Vision service you will be charged per-kb which could add up to a lot!

all you have to do is find free games and ringtones, or make your own ringtones with an mp3 editor. one site with some free games is www.midlet.org or www.getjar.com and for ringtones i have been using midi files and editing them with www.anvilstudio.com or making my own from mp3.

Note: The Samsung A-840 you are talking about requires an extra step to play mp3 ringtones, please do a CPF Search for QCP because your mp3 ringers will have to be converted to .qcp first and you can find everything you need to do by searching the ringtones forum.

sprint ringers expire after 90 days, but the free ones you send to your phone with the rumkin uploader will never expire. private message me if you need more help getting this started, once you figure it out its very easy.

    corrections to original post above

yes you are correct, you need vision service. i apologize for this old post, i restated the information correctly in another thread instead of correcting this one, sorry i let it slip by me without fixing it sooner. please note the above changes to my original post.

This is a good website^^ It has a whole lot but really they don't sound so good.

From the computer they sound awsome, but from the wbesite those are the ones you can put as a ringtone.
